June 26, 2026 -- 

Starting  Saturday, June 27, anyone who goes to the Sacrament of Confession will see a new setup. The goals with implementing these changes: Clarity with signage, line formation and what to expect in terms of number of priests!

The graphic below gives a visual of what to expect:

• During Confessions, there will now be a sign at the back of the church pews indicating whether there will be 1 or 2 priests hearing Confessions.
• There will be a default confessional, which is the one next to the 4th Station of the Cross (typically used by Fr. Andres).
• The line(s) for those waiting to enter the confessional(s) will now flow towards the front of the church along the stained glass window wall(s).
• There will be about 10 chairs on each side for those who are waiting in line and who need or prefer to sit while waiting.

A partir de mañana, sábado 27 de junio, quienes acudan al sacramento de la confesión encontrarán una nueva organización. El objetivo de estos cambios es ofrecer mayor claridad respecto a la señalización, la formación de la fila y el número de sacerdotes disponibles.

La siguiente imagen ilustra cómo funcionará el sistema:

• Durante las confesiones, habrá un letrero en la parte posterior de los bancos indicando si hay uno o dos sacerdotes atendiendo.
• Se utilizará un confesionario principal: el que se encuentra junto a la cuarta estación del Vía Crucis (habitualmente utilizado por el P. Andrés).
• La fila (o filas) de espera para los confesionarios avanzará ahora hacia la parte delantera del templo, recorriendo el espacio junto a las paredes con vitrales.
• Habrá unas 10 sillas a cada lado para las personas que estén esperando y necesiten o prefieran permanecer sentadas durante la espera.
